About DoneList

We believe finishing things should feel good.

Most to-do apps grow until they need managing themselves — accounts, syncs, paywalls, streak guilt. DoneList goes the other way. It's small on purpose.

The whole idea

DoneList exists for one loop: capture → organize → do → done. Get the thing out of your head in a tap, see what matters today, finish it, and feel the small satisfaction of the check.

No sign-up screen. No data leaving your phone. No subscription standing between you and your own to-do list. We stripped away everything that gets in the way of that loop — and kept the parts that make it feel good.

It's free because a to-do list shouldn't cost money. It's private because your tasks are nobody's business but yours. And it's calm because the last thing a busy day needs is another app shouting for attention.

What guides us

Five principles

01

Capture is frictionless

Adding a task is always one tap away — and understands plain language.

02

Completion feels good

Every “done” earns a satisfying, tactile moment. That's the whole point.

03

Calm & lean

Minimal gamification, minimal chrome. Never noisy, never nagging.

04

Private by default

100% on-device. No account, no tracking, no cloud copies.

05

Free for everyone

No ads, no subscription, no feature held hostage behind a paywall.

Our promises

What DoneList will never do

  • Never sell your data — we never even see it.
  • Never charge you, or dangle features behind a subscription.
  • Never nag you with guilt-trip notifications.
  • Never bloat the app with things you didn't ask for.
